The Actuaries' Club of Boston (ACB) is an organization intended to promote the actuarial profession, foster discussion of actuarial matters, assist in the education of its members, and promote networking among its members.

Membership in the ACB is open to any person living or working in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont who is a member or affiliate of a recognized actuarial society or who is an actuarial officer of a state insurance department. There are no annual dues or other membership requirements.

The Club holds meetings 2-3 times per year at which members gather together for educational and networking opportunities. A joint meeting with the Actuaries’ Club of Hartford is generally held later in the year. Educational sessions are geared toward areas of practice recognized by the Society of Actuaries. Meetings are open to all interested persons, including undergraduate and graduate students, as well as actuarial students working toward membership in the SOA.

The Club also sponsors classes to support those taking exams toward Associateship and Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries, and is a sponsoring organization of continuing education for actuaries in general, and Enrolled Actuaries in particular. To help promote the actuarial profession and stimulate interest in mathematics amongst secondary school students, the Club sponsors the annual mathematics Olympiad contest administered by the Massachusetts Association of Mathematics Leagues (MAML).
